COVID-19 Dental Emergency
While Northwest Arkansas Family Dental is currently closed to elective dental treatments to help slow the spread of COVID-19, we are still here to help our patients through dental emergencies. We would have it no other way.
During this challenging time, you have a lot on your mind, a toothache should not be one of them.
We also want you to rest easy knowing that we adhere to strict sterilization protocols in our Fayetteville, AR dental office—today and every day.
We use medical-grade disinfectants approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). And we clean every part of our dental office—from chairs to bathrooms, from exam rooms to nooks and crannies—again and again throughout the day.
We also rely on disposable dental pieces in many cases and a surgical-grade sterilization system for our multi-use instruments. Our dental team is always cautious, and we are determined to keep you and your loved ones safe.
How to Reach Our Emergency Dentist
If you have a toothache or other dental emergency, call our dental office and leave a message. We check our messages throughout the day, and someone will call you back as soon as possible to assess your situation.
We do not want you to wait out a dental emergency, which can put your oral health at risk or even mean the spread of an opportunistic infection. Our emergency dentist can treat you right here in our dental office.
Your Dental Emergency
If you have a painful or damaged tooth or soft tissue injury, you need to see an emergency dentist as soon as possible. Do not wait it out because of the threat of COVID-19. Doing this can lead to extraction or severe oral health complications, including the spread of any infection.
Dental emergencies may include:
- A toothache
- A tooth knocked out
- A broken or damaged restoration
- Jaw or face swelling
- An impact injury to the mouth
If your tooth is knocked out, place it in a cup of warm water, milk, or saliva until your emergency appointment.
If you’re unsure whether you have a dental emergency, contact our dental office. A member of our team will make the appropriate determination for your comfort and oral health.
The team at Northwest Arkansas Family Dental is here for you and your loved ones during this difficult time.
Proud to Be Your Emergency Dentist in Fayetteville
