Patients often comment about how much we really seem to love our jobs and how well we all work together. To those patients and to you, I will say that all it takes is a team that has pride and excitement in providing a great patient experience as well as practicing an exceptional quality of dentistry. We take great pride in serving Fayetteville and our surrounding communities.
Upon entering our office, you will be greeted and welcomed by name – seemingly as more of a friend than a patient. Once you have arrived, you will not just hear the echo of dental drills or that dental office smell that you are accustomed to, but the sound of laughter from our girls (who love a good story or joke) and a scent that is much more pleasing and relaxing. You will likely be offered a drink and have something to read while you wait, although you can be assured that you will be seen on time and will not have to experience a long wait.
In a world that is schedule driven, we know that our patients' time is valuable. For this reason, it is not our goal to see a record number of patients in a day, but to provide you with the greatest quality of personalized care. We schedule our patients in a way that allows us to serve them more adequately and efficiently. Once you are in a room, we have the opportunity of getting to know you on a deeper level. Whether your concerns are health, comfort, fear, or that smile makeover, our priority is to develop a relationship with you so that we can give you the best we have to offer. It is our philosophy that you not only leave here with your needs or wants met, but that you leave here educated about your dental health to give you a better quality of life.
While it is not only our job to solve your dental needs and educate you to gain better dental health, we also feel that it is important that we have someone available to walk you through the process. Our treatment room allows you the privacy to discuss your dental treatment options with us from scheduling your treatments to discussing finances or other concerns that you may have.
Upon leaving our office, we hope that we have provided you with an answer to all your questions. We hope that we have customized a way to best fit your needs or wants and have given you a great patient experience with an exceptional quality of care. We also hope that you leave here with a better understanding of dentistry in a way to create a better quality of life for you and your family.

Dr. Wade Kifer
I was born in Missouri and lived there until about age 13, when I moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas. I believe it was there that I first became interested in dentistry. I have always loved science and people, so dentistry was a natural connection between the two.
In 1995, I graduated from Southside High School and then enrolled in the University of Arkansas, where I graduated with a B.S. in biology in 1999. After college I was accepted into the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and graduated in 2003. After dental school, I did a one-year residency that specialized in and focused on high quality general dentistry (AEGD).
While in Tennessee, I met my wife Claire while she was in Physical Therapy school. We were married in 2004 in her hometown of Dyersburg, TN, and then moved back to northwest Arkansas. I worked in an orthodontic office and a general dental office in the area. In the summer of 2006, Dr. Broyles asked me to join him in his dental practice in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
I absolutely love dentistry and regularly take over one hundred hours per year of continuing education. This is five times the amount required by the state licensing committee. I am a member of and have been studying at The Kois Center of Excellence in Seattle since 2008. I am also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Arkansas State Dental Association (ASDA). Additionally, I am the President of the Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy (AIDT) and I volunteer at the Fayetteville Free Health Center.
When I'm not studying, I really enjoy spending time with my wife and our three children, Kate, Kinley, and Nicholas. They are the absolute joys in our lives. Besides family and church, we enjoy going to Razorback football, basketball and baseball games. Other hobbies of ours include hiking and canoeing.
Dr. Beth Bowen
I am originally from northeast Arkansas. I graduated from Jonesboro High School in 2004 and then attended the University of Arkansas on a prestigious Bodenhamer Fellowship, graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in biology in 2007.
During my second semester of college, a group of friends invited me to volunteer with them at the Free Health Center. I fell in love with dentistry over those Thursday night visits! To me, dentistry is the perfect way to build relationships with my patients while combining my loves of science and art.
After college, I attended the University of Tennessee in Memphis for dental school. I absolutely adored my time in Memphis! (Yes, I am a huge nerd!) While in school, I had the privilege of presenting research, taking electives in periodontal surgery, esthetics, CEREC technology, and Endodontics as well as teaching underclassmen through the senior honors program. I graduated with Honors in 2011.
I have done additional training in the dental departments of both the Children's Hospital of Colorado and the Cincinnati Children's Hospital. This was to learn more about comprehensive treatment planning for children, behavior management, and dental needs associated with growth and development.
After dental school, I worked as an associate for three years in my hometown of Jonesboro before moving back to Fayetteville to join Dr. Kifer. I am excited to be back in Northwest Arkansas after a seven-year hiatus! When I am not at the office, you can likely find me spending time with my family and friends or with my two spoiled pups, Sooie and Petunia. If I am not with the ones I love, I am likely in the kitchen baking, calling the Hogs at a football game, or running on one of the great trails around town.
Dr. Megan Johnson
I am originally from Eastern Arkansas and grew up in Marion. I attended college at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee, where I graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology in 2012. While in college, I met my husband Matt, who is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee. We were married in 2012 the month before I started dental school.
I spent my next 4 years in Louisville, KY, attending the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where I earned my DMD degree in May of 2016. During my senior year, I was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a National Dental Honor Society who selects students that have shown exemplary character, leadership, and scholarship.
After dental school, I was accepted into a one-year residency program (AEGD) that brought me to Northwest Arkansas. I completed this residency at the dental clinic in the Fayetteville VA hospital, where I had the privilege of serving our nation’s veterans. My program provided a ton of additional clinical experience.
I have fallen in love with this side of the state, and I am so excited to be staying in this area! Outside of the office you can find me dragging my husband Matt, a Tennessee fan, to Razorback games (if you see a guy with an orange “T” on his truck around town, he’s probably mine), and playing frisbee with our miniature schnauzer, Silas.
I was born in Northwest Arkansas but had the opportunity to live in Texas for a good portion of my life. My husband and I have been back in this area since 2005, and we are enjoying what NWA has to offer.
I graduated from the Paris Junior College Dental Assistant Program in 2005, and I have been working with Dr. Kifer ever since. I enjoy working at Northwest Arkansas Family Dental but also spending time with all the women I work with.
My husband, Cody, and I have been married since 2006; we were blessed with our beautiful daughter, Laney, in June of 2011. We love the peaceful country life with all of our animals and spending time with family and friends.
Front Office Manager
I am originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I have been married to Chris since 2004, and we have a wonderful little girl named Megyn.
I moved to Northwest Arkansas from Little Rock in 2008, when my husband was transferred with his job. I have been in the dental field since 2004 and I love it! I went into dentistry thinking I wanted to assist but soon realized how much I enjoyed being the first person the patients are greeted by or talk to on the phone.
Outside of the office, most of my free time is spent with my husband and daughter (who keeps me very busy). I enjoy reading, spending time with family, and shopping. Most of all, I feel very blessed to work with such a great group of people who make a difference in people's lives every day.
Financial + Insurance Coordinator
I was born and raised in Maumelle, Ar. and graduated high school in Russellville, Ar. I have been living in Fayetteville since 2008 when I moved here to attend the U of A, aside from a brief dreamy 2 years I lived in Crested Butte, Co. My very first job was working in a dental office when I was 17 and I am very excited to be back in this environment helping make people smile every single day 10 years later! If you need a helping hand understanding your insurance or finances, I am happy to assist.
When I am not here at the office you can find me exploring all of Arkansas’ trails and waterfalls, painting anything my heart desires, being thrifty and crafty, cooking and baking new recipes I find on pintrest, and making memories with my loved ones.
I am originally from Texas, but I have had the absolute privilege of calling Fayetteville my home since 2012. I love to soak up everything the Ozarks has to offer and can’t imagine being anywhere else. In my free time you can usually find me anywhere from the farmers market to supporting our local artist and shows. You may even see me on stage with some of the local improv comedy groups! I can’t wait to meet you and welcome you to our dental family!
PT, Myofunctional Therapist
I was born and raised in Dyersburg, Tennessee. I attended Union University for my undergraduate studies. I then went to the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center where I received my Masters of Physical Therapy degree. This is where I met Wade. We were married in 2004 and moved to NWA. We have three children Kate, Kinley, and Nicholas. I have worked with children of all ages and I am excited to bring my skill set to Northwest Arkansas Family Dental.
When Wade started learning about the role of dentistry in growth and development, I took an immediate interest in it. Having three young children and working in the pediatric population as a physical therapist I saw many of the issues he was describing from his studies. I have taken several training courses and am now trained in myofunctional therapy. I am excited to bring these skills as well as my physical therapy training to offer our patients another area of care.
In our free time we enjoy travelling, watching our kids in their various and many activities, and attending Razorback sporting events.
RDH, Myofunctional Therapist
I was born in Portsmouth, VA and had the opportunity to live in several cities along the east coast while my dad was in the Navy. My family is originally from Arkansas and moved to NWA in 2001. I love food, a good book and red wine! I married my amazing husband in January 2012. We have one child, Beckett, who was born in 2013.
I graduated from Dental Hygiene school at the UA Fort Smith in 2011. As a dental hygienist, I am able to really get to know my patients and help them get the smile they deserve. I am also one of two myofunctional therapists in the office. Myofunctional therapy really caught my interest when I started reading about how mouth breathing and snoring can affect a child's growth and development and how therapy can help. I have jumped in head first and am always trying to learn more. Continuing education is very important for me to be the best that I can be for my patients.
I was born and raised in Stuttgart, AR. I moved to Fayetteville in 2004 to start my college career at the University of Arkansas where I graduated with a B.S. in biology. I graduated from dental hygiene school at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith in May 2013. I have always had an interest in the dental field especially dental hygiene. My mother’s best friend is a dental hygienist and she always left a lasting impression on me when I went to the dentist. The opportunity for me to meet new people and establish long lasting relationships is one of the many benefits of my profession.
I married my best friend’s older brother, Robert, in December 2011. We both enjoy traveling with family and friends, being outdoors, and anything involving Razorback sports. In May 2013, we adopted a lab/shepherd mix we named Sadie. Robert and I welcomed a baby boy, William Robert, to our family this past May. Our family is excited about the many future blessings Northwest Arkansas has to offer.

After finishing dental hygiene school in Overland Park, KS, I couldn't wait to move back to be closer to my family and friends. Bryan and I were married in 2014. We welcomed our daughter, Elliot, in 2016 and our son, Carson, in 2018.

I’ve always thought about moving here due to my love for the outdoors, but after having a nephew that lived here it made it a must!
My work days fly by educating my patients, addressing concerns, and finding out what has been keeping them busy. I love being able to go to work every day doing something that I love!
I like to spend as much time as possible taking my dogs out on the amazing trails here and being with family.
I was born and raised right here in NWA. I graduated from Huntsville High School in 1999. In 2003, I completed my Bachelors of Science in Little Rock. Upon graduation, I returned to NWA and began my career in private practice. Four years later, I joined the dental team at the VA in Fayetteville. I spent 10 years at the VA before becoming a member of The Northwest Arkansas Family Dental team.
I have been blessed by my career as a dental hygienist. From serving our nations veterans to my next door neighbor, I have crossed paths with all walks of life. I have learned that we all have our own mental, physical and emotional needs. I love having the opportunity on a daily basis to work with my patients on a personal level to meet them at their needs. I desire to build a relationship with each on my patients and to provide the care that each individual requires to reach optimal oral health.
Outside of work, you will find me spending time with my family. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Preston. Elly plays volleyball, basketball and softball. In 2006, our son, Paxton, was born. He plays football, basketball and baseball.
