At Northwest Arkansas Family Dental, we utilize the latest dental technology because we understand that it makes treatment for our patients more comfortable and efficient. Dr. Wade Kifer is committed to the comfort of our patients and you'll notice new equipment being added to our office periodically. Here are just a few of the exciting technologies you'll find at our office.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays offer numerous benefits to both our doctor and our patients such as:

  • 90% less exposure to radiation for patients
  • Clearer images for more accurate diagnosis
  • Images readily available to review with the patient or other pertinent providers
  • Digital images are easier to transfer to pertinent providers if necessary

Digital Impressions

3D technology allows us to eliminate the messy, gooey dental impressions we used to have to take of your tooth in order to fabricate a restoration. Now we can scan an image of your tooth directly to our own milling machine where we can create a high quality restoration for you during one appointment while you wait. This also eliminates the 2-4 week waiting time it used to take to fabricate a quality restoration.

Cavity Prevention in Fayetteville AR

We're proud to offer CariFree in our office, which is a cavity prevention system that allows us to determine your risk for developing a cavity by measuring the level of bacteria in your mouth. We believe that this system helps us to assist you in being proactive and preventing tooth decay before it can even occur. If we determine the pH level in your mouth is off, we may recommend products to help balance that and create a bacteria free environment in your mouth in which tooth decay and cavities can't develop.

These are just a few of the advanced services we offer here at Northwest Arkansas Family Dental. We encourage you to call us and schedule your next appointment so you can learn more about how we're different. We know you'll be glad you did!
